Tennessee Medical Association Alliance

Membership in the TMA Alliance provides support, friendship, and connection for spouses of physicians in the state of Tennessee. By joining the TMA Alliance, you can be a part of a community that understands the unique challenges and concerns of medical families while participating in activities that build leadership skills and improve health in our communities.

Please review the eligibility requirements and membership levels below.  AIMs may join electronically or by downloading the AIM Membership Form.

Eligibility

TMAA welcomes eligible physician, fellow, resident, and medical student spouses to join our organization. To qualify for membership, individuals should be the spouse, widow/widower (not remarried outside the profession) of a physician who qualifies, or who did qualify, as a member of TMA.

If you live in an area with an active medical alliance (Chattanooga, Knoxville, Johnson City), please scroll to the links below to join TMAA as part of the local alliance membership package though the appropriate local alliance site.  

If you live in an area where there is no local alliance, please select the "TMAA AIM" category below and join as a direct member of TMAA. 

If you are the spouse of a Physician In Training (medical school, residency, fellowship), please select the "TMAA Physician In Training Spouse" category below to enjoy complimentary membership in TMAA.
