About Us The Tennessee Medical Association Alliance is a non-profit organization of physician spouses whose mission is to partner with physicians to promote the good health of Tennessee and support the family of medicine. Our activities focus on: communication among physician spouses to provide connection, mentoring and leadership development to members; health promotions projects to improve healthcare in our communities; awareness and advocacy for legislative efforts to improve the practice of medicine in our state; and networking with physician spouses to engage new members. |

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .TMAA Endowed Medical ScholarshipIn anticipation of the centennial celebration of the Tennessee Medical Association Alliance, we are excited to announce the creation of a new endowed medical scholarship. In the spring of 2025, the TMAA Philanthropic Fund Board of Managers and Board of Directors approved funds to establish the Tennessee Medical Association Alliance Endowed Doctor of Medicine Scholarship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. The scholarship is to benefit a fourth year medical student enrolled at the UTHSC College of Medicine who is the child of a practicing or retired physician in the state of Tennessee. It is the intention to continue to build the endowment and honor the legacy of the TMAA through perpetual scholarship awards. We anticipate the first award of the scholarship to coincide with the 100th Anniversary of TMAA in 2027. If you would like to make a contribution, your tax-deductible donation may be made in the following ways. A donation may be made directly to the UT Foundation at giving.uthsc.edu/tmaae . A donation may be made by check payable to UT Foundation and mailed to: UT Health Science Center Office of Advancement, 62 South Dunlap Suite 500, Memphis, TN 38163.
